Created by the founders of Art Source (the leading English language platform for Israeli art online) Handle With Care’s vision is to shine a spotlight on unique pieces that blur the borders between fine art and design.
Our Mission:
Our goal is to expand the reach of Israeli design internationally and to serve as a platform to discover and support Israeli creators! The brand’s social impact is extremely important to us, and we make it a point to collaborate with groups that promote our values. For example all proceeds from sales of "Kuchinate" collective’s pieces on Handle With Care go directly to this nonprofit collective, supporting asylum seeking African women in Tel Aviv; We feature brands like "IOTA", which promotes women in low income communities worldwide, providing them with mentoring and training programs and "Mekomit", which promotes women in the arts, with a portion of all sales donated to the Association for Women's Art and Gender Research in Israel.
Our Story:
We are Michal Freedman and Sarah Peguine, and we can't wait for you to discover the collection of Israeli design we've curated for you! We met a decade ago while directing two of Israel's leading art galleries. With roots in Israel and Europe (Sarah) and Israel and The US (Michal) we’ve always strived to connect the different cultures we grew up in. Our passion for promoting Israeli art to an international audience led us to found Art Source. When placing artworks by Israeli artists in local and international homes over the years we recognized a strong passion for Israeli design amongst our followers and clients. This led us to build Handle With Care, bringing the best of Israeli design to your door, wherever you are!
